Certified Nursing Assistant

Description SIGN ON BONUS UP TO $1400.00 DEPENDING ON STATUS OF EMPLOYMENT! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as necessary
• Document patient care and observations accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment

Requirements

Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two years of high school Certification: Active CNA certification in the state of Illinois Other: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk a minimum of 90% of working time Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English Basic computer skills Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
