Reconstruction Project Manager – Restoration / Disaster Recovery Location: Lehigh Valley / Allentown, PA Area Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | Permanent Position Compensation: $65,000–$85,000 Base Salary + Strong Commission Potential Expected Total Earnings: $100,000–$135,000+ for strong performers We are hiring two experienced Reconstruction Project Managers for a growing restoration and disaster recovery company in the Lehigh Valley / Allentown, PA area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in insurance restoration, reconstruction, mitigation, water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, property restoration, or construction project management who wants steady work, strong earning potential, and the ability to manage high-volume projects. This is not a slow desk job.

The right person will be managing active residential and commercial restoration/reconstruction projects, working with customers, subcontractors, vendors, insurance-related jobs, and internal teams to keep projects moving from start to finish. Project Managers are expected to manage around $1.5M in annual revenue, with strong lead flow already coming in. The more volume you manage, the more money you can make.

Compensation

includes a strong base salary plus commission, with earning potential that can easily add another $35,000–$45,000+ per year for strong performers. Commission opportunities may include job scope, running jobs, and additional incentives for bringing in referral work. What You’ll Be Doing Managing residential and commercial reconstruction/restoration projects Overseeing water damage, fire damage, mold, lead paint, asbestos-related and reconstruction projects Managing project budgets, job costs, schedules, timelines, and production Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, materials, and internal trade staff Communicating with homeowners, tenants, property managers, insurance contacts, and team members Keeping projects organized, profitable, safe, and on schedule Ensuring quality control and job site safety Managing multiple active projects at one time, potentially up to 30 projects Supporting customer satisfaction, company standards, and brand reputation Recruiting and managing subcontractor relationships when needed Collecting project funds and helping drive job completion Requirements What We’re Looking For Experience as a Reconstruction Project Manager, Restoration Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, Mitigation Manager, Insurance Restoration PM, or similar role Experience managing repair, restoration, reconstruction, remodeling, or insurance-related construction projects Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, schedules, budgets, and multiple moving pieces Comfortable using computers, phones, tablets, apps, project management software, and estimating tools Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership, follow-up, and problem-solving skills Reliable, accountable, and professional Able to participate in an emergency after-hours on-call rotation Preferred Experience Insurance restoration industry experience Water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, reconstruction, mitigation, or disaster recovery experience IICRC certifications in Water, Fire, or Mold Experience with Dash, MICA/Mitigation software, estimating platforms, project management apps, or similar systems Xactimate or estimating experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate Experience managing subcontractors and in-house trade crews Schedule / On-Call Benefits $65,000–$85,000 base salary depending on experience Strong commission structure with $100,000–$130,000+ total earning potential 401(k) with company match: 50% up to 5% Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Company truck Gas card Laptop Cell phone / iPad Steady lead flow through TPA program Direct hire, permanent opportunity Important Company Vehicle Policy Company vehicles are for employee/business use only.
