Job Description: Assists the teacher in increasing engaged instructional time for targeted K-5 students. Complete Job Description Link: K - 5 Instructional Assistant Job Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of experience working either in a school or working with children with special needs, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job.

Experience supervising children required. Demonstrated desire to learn new skills and participate in ongoing training; willingness and ability to learn methods for teaching and managing special needs students. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of individuals.
