About Woolsey Morcom Woolsey Morcom is a litigation firm uniquely positioned to deliver the quality of a large law firm alongside the personal attention and trial skills of experienced practitioners. Our first-party property practice is growing rapidly, and we're looking for an experienced Texas attorney to join our existing team and help manage an expanding caseload.

What you'll do

Navigate Texas' pre-suit requirements and statutory framework Draft and argue motions, pleadings, exhibits, and correspondence Manage all aspects of discovery — propounding and responding to requests for production, admissions, and interrogatories Take and defend depositions Coordinate with expert witnesses, including general contractors and engineers Represent clients at mediation Work collaboratively with legal and support staff at our Ponte Vedra, FL headquarters What we're looking for Required Active Texas Bar membership in good standing 2+ years of first-party property litigation experience (plaintiff or defense) Located in Texas Authorized to work in the U.
