  • School Based Youth Services Program Grant Funded School Based Youth Services Program Clinician Position Type: Grant Funded Student Based Youth Services Program Clinician
  • The FORUM Off Guide Location: Teaneck High School Essential qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work or related field. New Jersey state licensure LSW, LAC, LPC, LCSW preferred. Experience working with and counseling adolescents. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community.

Essential functions

Plan and participate in assemblies, presentations and other special programs for students on issues pertaining to mental health, physical health and positive youth development. Provide counseling and/or crisis intervention to program participants ages 13-19 in individual and group sessions. Provide referrals to community resources in the area of health, mental health, and substance abuse treatment as indicated.

Qualified candidates must have a commitment to multicultural education and demonstrate an ability to work harmoniously with diverse populations.
