MHE Technician

Job Purpose To perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of material handling equipment while providing technical support to junior mechanics and ensuring equipment reliability and safety. Principal Accountabilities Provide technical assistance in diagnosing and repairing various equipment, supporting junior mechanics.

Perform inspection and repair work on a wide range of material handling equipment. Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedules and standards. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics. Rebuild engines and major driveline components when required.

Conduct repairs on brake systems, exhaust, steering, and suspension systems. Repair, rebuild, and replace hydraulic components such as pumps, hoses, seals, valves, winches, and cylinders. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components. Conduct road testing of equipment to ensure proper functionality after repairs.

Assist other technicians with complex repair and maintenance tasks. Required Qualifications Education

• Minimum4 plus years in a similar role
