REIC Rentals is looking for a mechanically inclined, highly organized Technical Product Coordinator to join a growing team supporting our equipment, parts, and national service operations. This is a unique opportunity for someone who likes to work with their hands, solve problems, stay organized, and take ownership .

You'll be involved in everything from assembling and modifying equipment to sourcing parts, building retrofit kits, managing inventory, shipping equipment, and supporting new product initiatives. Even better, you'll be joining a newer team within REIC , giving you the opportunity to help develop processes and improve how work gets done.

This position works across multiple areas of the organization—including Production, Engineering, Service, and Operations—making it a highly visible role with excellent exposure and opportunities to learn and grow as REIC continues to expand.If you're a self-starter who enjoys variety and doesn't want to do the exact same thing every day, this could be a great fit.

What You'll DoEquipment Assembly & Technical Support Support our national service shop with the assembly and preparation of rental equipment. Complete component builds for newly manufactured equipment. Assemble parts and retrofit kits for distribution to REIC service locations. Rebuild and modify equipment, including equipment wiring, component replacement, and retrofit kit installation.

Assist the Production Manager in identifying the correct parts needed for equipment rebuilds and modifications. Support the Engineering team with new equipment testing, parts procurement, and other product-related projects. Develop strong working knowledge of REIC's equipment, parts, products, and services. Parts, Procurement & Inventory Order, inspect, receive, organize, and store parts used to support heating equipment and other business operations.

Source parts and materials from local suppliers when needed. Monitor inventory and help replenish stock before critical parts run out. Maintain an organized parts room and stock areas. Assist with monthly and periodic physical inventory counts. Help identify opportunities to improve shop, inventory, and parts processes.

Shipping, Receiving & Shop Operations Package, ship, and receive parts and equipment using a variety of delivery methods. Coordinate parts and equipment needs with REIC service teams. Drive a company vehicle to local suppliers and other locations to pick up or deliver parts and equipment. Operate a forklift after completing company-required training and certification.

Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and safe shop environment. Follow established processes while looking for opportunities to make them more efficient without sacrificing quality.

Willing to jump between hands-on technical work, inventory, shipping, computer work, and whatever else the team needs. Customer-focused and responsive when supporting REIC's internal teams and service locations.

Comfortable asking for help or escalating an issue when something falls outside their knowledge or experience. Requirements

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of related mechanical or technical experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of technical experience in a field or customer-service environment preferred. General understanding of mechanical tools, equipment, technical terminology, and specifications.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Good judgment and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service. Comfortable reading and following technical instructions, diagrams, procedures, and specifications.

Basic math skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Experience with inventory or order-processing systems is helpful. Equipment rental experience is helpful, but it isn't required. We're interested in mechanically minded people who have the right attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn.

Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and ability to meet REIC's driving requirements. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification within two months of hire. Ability to travel occasionally when business needs require it. Ability to maintain a valid passport for international travel when necessary.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a hands-on shop position , not a desk-only role. The work environment may include changing temperatures and weather conditions, periodic equipment noise, dust, electrical hazards, stairs, ladders, and other conditions typical of an equipment service and production environment.

While performing this position, employees regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, use their hands to work with equipment and parts, and communicate with coworkers and customers. The position requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation.
