Revenue Accountant Hyderabad / Vizag
- WFO Full Time UK Shift : 2-11 PM IST Role Summary The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for Revenue accounting and reporting. They will be involved in the month, quarter and year-end close processes including but not limited to the analysis of revenue, directly associated costs and reporting deliverables. They will have the opportunity to work with our Accounting and Finance counterparts to help ensure that all financial statements are in accordance with US GAAP and to provide accounting support, where needed. What You'll Be Doing Review cost reports for expenses and prepare appropriate cost accruals Prepare deferred costs and accrued costs schedules and journals Prepare monthly inter-company invoices and journals Ensure accounting and reporting is in compliance with US GAAP and the Client Accounting Policy Prepare associated Balance Sheet Reconciliations on Blackline Preparation of reports, statements and summaries for Senior Management as required Assist with special projects and research projects as assigned by Revenue Manager, and perform other tasks as needed to ensure accuracy of the financial statements What We’re Looking For Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 2 - 3 years of general accounting experience, public accounting experience desirable Revenue Recognition ASC 606 experience Ability to interpret complex contractual agreements to determine the proper accounting treatment or disclosure consequences Strong relationship building skills and a highly professional “client service orientation” is critical Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy & integrity Excellent verbal & written communication skills Previous experience with major accounting software experience such as Oracle, MS Dynamics SL, MS Dynamics GP, SAP, etc. Advanced Excel skills
