Overview
We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Cloud Systems Engineer to join the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Department at our HQ in Milan. Your Impact The Cloud Systems Engineer will ensure the reliability, security, and continuous evolution of the company’s Cloud and AI platforms, building a scalable, resilient, and automated ecosystem aligned with business, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
In particular, the resource will be responsible for: Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Management: manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. AI Operations / AIOps: support and automate enterprise AI platforms, ensuring efficient, reliable, and observable operations. Automation & DevOps: implement infrastructure automation and enhance CI/CD in collaboration with DevOps teams.
Security, Risk & Compliance: ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and governance standards. Service Improvement & Governance: drive operational excellence through Fin. Ops, service optimization, and advanced technical support.
Qualifications
Main qualifications: 7 –10 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering; AI/Data Operations experience is a plus. Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud, including hybrid cloud, containers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, monitoring, automation, networking, and IAM.
Experience or strong interest in AI/ML Operations, including MLOps, LLMOps, AI workloads, and model orchestration. Familiarity with AI platforms and services (e.g., Azure AI/OpenAI, AWS AI, Databricks, vector databases, and RAG). Good understanding of cybersecurity, operational resilience, and compliance best practices.
We Would Appreciate a Person Who Is: Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality services.
