Clinic Registered Nurse - Neurology

Description Semmes Murphey Clinic's mission is to deliver the best care for people suffering from neurological illnesses while advancing the field of neuroscience. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join an established neurology practice. This nursing role directly impacts patients and their families quality of care, ease of access to treatments and medications, and overall bridges the gap between their various care teams.

While the majority of patient interaction takes place by phone, you serve as the first point of contact for their clinical or symptom based questions, and help patients access a variety of medications or treatments with ease. This is a full-time, onsite position. Hours in this role are approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

There are no scheduled weekends or nights.

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate who has the ability to work with focused concentration, as well as, comprehend and interpret verbal orders and directions can make frequent judgments and respond to routine problems is able to communicate effectively and persuasively in both positive and negative situations can provide excellent customer service while managing difficult or emotional situations maintains a high level of confidentiality and discretion This position requires a nursing program certificate from an accredited college or university, one (1) year experience as a registered nurse, and current state nursing license and BLS certification.

BSN degree and experience working in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical practice software, with knowledge of data entry and coding software. Organizational skills with attention to detail are required.
