Responsibilities
& Key Deliverables Building strong relationships with the suppliers Ensure availability of materials on-time for the Vehicle Assembly Overseeing the procurement of materials and components, placing orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving issues related to delivery or quality Managing inventory levels, Maintain safety stocks, forecasting material needs, and optimizing procurement strategies to minimize stock-outs and overstocking Collaborating with quality control to ensure purchased materials meet the necessary quality standards and technical specifications Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations Continually improve the Supply chain issues, processes and procedures Skill & Competency: In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best procurement practices Proficiency in procurement software, tools, and ERP systems (MRP, ASN etc.)
Technical knowledge of parts being sourced (Welding & Fabrication / Injection molding / Machining etc.) Strong Analytical and Communication skills Pro-active risk assessment and mitigation Requirements Experience 4-6 years Industry Preferred EV / Automotive / Auto Ancillary Qualifications B.E/B.
