• Jamestown, NC, Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Weekend, Job Category: Nurse, supervise nursing activities of his/her nursing station on each shift; organize and assign jobs to be accomplished on each shift based upon resident population, staff qualifications, and physical structure; make rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents; prepare and administer medications; chart as required; give treatments; consult with physicians; communicate with director of nursing and staff. The person holding this position is delegated responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice. Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing processes, care planning, and clinical assessment.

Ability to perform comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized care plans. Skilled in medication administration, wound care, IV therapy (where permitted), and complex clinical interventions. Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff. Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities, including standards established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Experience with quality improvement initiatives, infection control programs, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems. Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.

Commitment to resident-centered care, advocacy, and maintaining resident dignity and safety. Current CPR/BLS certification
