Heavy Duty Technician or Truck and Transport - Red Seal Certified

The Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician/Truck and Transport mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of underground/surface mobile mining equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role performs preventative and corrective maintenance on haul trucks, loaders, drills, bolters, utility vehicles, and other heavy equipment while adhering to safety regulations, company policies, and manufacturer specifications.

The incumbent diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues, completes work orders and documentation, and works collaboratively with operations to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability in a demanding underground mining and surface milling environment.
