Research Associate / Research Assistant
Job description
A precision medicine laboratory at the Chinese University of Hong Kong is looking for individuals with Bioinformatics undergraduate degree and extensive experience in R or RStudio, COX analysis, transcriptome analyses and potentially Alphafold or AI-medicine to join the research team of Dr. Vivian Lui. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics (for Research Assistant) or a PhD degree in Bioinformatics (for Research Associate); (ii) the ability to execute bioinformatics analyses independently; (iii) proficiency in English; and (iv) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
Wet-laboratory experience would be an added advantage. The appointee will work on various research projects on precision medicine and AI-medicine. Duties include (a) assisting in data analyses and managing research projects; (b) preparing proposals, manuscripts, and reports; and (c) performing other laboratory duties as assigned by supervisor.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
