• Lenexa, KS, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00Hourly, Role Summary: Team Lead’s shepherd a team of volunteers who guide children and their families through spiritual growth while also looking for opportunities to connect and partner with parents.

Responsibilities

Lead out vision, mission and values of Kids Ministry and Westside. Oversee schedule of volunteers for the age group team they lead Collaborate with ministry associate director and curriculum team to ensure spotless environments and effective delivery of curriculum, supplies and resources. Assist with environment setup and tear down Oversee curriculum for specific environment Qualifications: Skills/Certification: Must thrive in team environments and recognize the need for collaboration Must have ability to develop and lead volunteers Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be relationally warm and friendly, able to create kind and loving environments for staff, volunteers and families Must be comfortable with computer/web-based technology Must be willing to live in a healthy biblical community with others, modelling what he/she is coaching others to do Currently a Westside Family Church member or become a member within 90 days of employment
