Role: Full-time backend engineer responsible for implementing, updating, releasing, and maintaining SuPay backend services, collaborating closely with QA and frontend teams.

Responsibilities

1. Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping.
2. Design, implement, and maintain backend APIs and services.
3. Collaborate with other engineers and QA for testing and release.
4. Participate in code review and improve system quality.
5. Work in an Agile-like, iterative lifecycle development process.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Golang (or Java.)
2. Minimum 1 years of professional experience in developing any kind of fintech related service such as Payment, BNPL, Payouts, BaaS, etc. in Japan.
3. Experience in Clean architecture, MVC, Monolith, Modular Monolith and CI/CD.
4. Solid understanding of REST API, HTTP, and database design.
5. Familiar with Clean Architecture or similar patterns.
6. Basic understanding of CI/CD and software lifecycle.
7. Business level English. Big plus:
8. Interest in launching a service that has a positive disruptive impact on the world.
9. Business level Mandarin or Japanese
10. Experience leading small teams or mentoring juniors.
11. Experience with PCI-DSS or security compliance.
