Varsity Head Coach - Soccer (Girls) - Woodland High School

Job Summary

The Girls Head Varsity Soccer Coach is responsible for leading and developing the high school girls soccer program. Duties include planning and conducting practices, developing game strategies, teaching fundamental and advanced soccer skills, and promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success. The coach supervises assistant coaches, evaluates player performance, maintains compliance with school and athletic association policies, communicates with student-athletes and parents, and ensures a safe and positive environment for all participants.

Additionally, the coach oversees program development, equipment management, and offseason training activities.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Prior coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred, though qualified candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply. Application Requirements: -Completed Ed. Join Application REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL COACHES (once selected):

• Concussion Certificate
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Heat Acclimatization Certificate
• TB test
• Guidelines for the Workplace & Youth Sports Protocol & Recommendations (link will be provided)
• Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse Certificate)
• Fingerprint clearance (once hired, the applicant will receive an appointment from Human Resources for the fingerprint process) Comments and Other Information The salaries to be paid for extra duty assignments are based on a percentage of Column Il of the existing salary schedule. Internal candidates will be considered first with Certificated personnel being priority followed by classified and other personnel.
