AR Specialist

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing customer accounts, invoicing, and payment collections in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Prepare, process, and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely. Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments. Record and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices and payment inquiries. Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and assist with month-end closing. Work closely with management and other departments to ensure accurate billing and collections. Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Experience in the trucking, construction, or transportation industry is a plus.
