Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - Days

$1000 Sign On Bonus KVC Missouri Residential Treatment Center: Columbia, MO Pay : $18.00-$21.65 per hour

• Depending on Experience and Education Job Summary: As a Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will provide for the physical and emotional needs of the clients assigned to your cottage and facilitate a healthy group living experience. You will also participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients. This position is great start to gain experience in the mental health/social services fields!

Responsibilities

Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including: Providing meals and snacks Assisting with personal care Monitoring medication Intervening in crisis situations Facilitate a healthy group living experience, including: Creating a positive and supportive environment Managing conflict. Enforcing house rules Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients, including:Attending treatment team meetings Providing input on treatment plans.
