Job description

Lead and oversee site execution, operation, and maintenance (O&M) activities for assigned Energy Efficiency projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, quality objectives, and operational performance targets. Main Responsibilities Supervise and lead site execution activities for Energy Efficiency projects.

Provide technical supervision for HVAC works, especially chilled water systems, pumps, valves, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and related mechanical systems. Supervise lighting installation works, including replacement, rectification, and site coordination. Supervise electrical works related to energy meter installation, panel access, cable routing, CT installation, and related site activities.

Lead and monitor O&M activities in the assigned project area. Ensure site works are executed as per approved method statements, project requirements, safety requirements, and client instructions. Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure proper productivity, quality of work, and timely completion of assigned tasks. Identify technical issues at site and report them clearly with proposed corrective actions.

Prepare technical reports, site progress reports, issue reports, and other required project documentation. Support testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities when required.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience, preferably in HVAC, chilled water systems, electrical works, or Energy Efficiency projects. Strong experience in HVAC systems, mainly chilled water systems.

Good knowledge of mechanical systems used in Energy Efficiency projects. Technical background in electrical works related to meters, panels, and site instrumentation. Ability to use electrical instruments such as clamp meters, multimeters, power meters, and related testing tools. Ability to use mechanical instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature meters, flow measuring tools, and other site measuring instruments.

Strong spoken and written English communication skills. Ability to prepare clear technical reports and communicate site issues professionally. Good leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams and subcontractors. Previous experience in Energy Efficiency projects is preferred. Soft Skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey safety and quality information effectively to all levels of staff.

Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring junior engineers. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail in identifying and addressing site issues. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.
