Job description
The Doctors Company is currently seeking an Account Executive to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Southern California. As an Account Executive under general supervision, you will be responsible for providing direct sales and service. Contacts are physician prospects, current policyholders and employees at all levels, agents and members of the general public.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in healthcare or insurance sales including prospecting, sales and client retention Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and sales experience Ability to travel to San Diego, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties.
Responsibilities
New Business Production Obtains information needed to recommend appropriate coverage. Identifies exposures/opportunities and presents coverage options to decision maker. Sets servicing/relationship expectations. Sells additional insurance policies to existing accounts as outlined above. Policy Renewal Nurtures relationship with decision makers.
Collaborates with team to set expectations and manage placement and renewal process. Collaborates with team to package information to obtain favorable terms. Presents terms to client. Coordinates renewal sales process. Prospecting Networks to create new business opportunities. Builds relationships with targeted prospects.
Builds relationships with third party influencers to gain access to new business opportunities. Creates a strong digital social network. Creates and executes targeted campaigns. Engages in campaign management and tracking. Learning, Development, & Compliance Maintain full compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and established standards (e.
g. accurately recording time worked, Submitting PTO, mandatory corporate training) Keep technical knowledge and skills current to effectively support department priorities. Complete all performance and development activities including the performance review process in a timely manner. Fulfill all required training and development obligations to maintain essential skills and credentials.
Complete all mandatory compliance courses on time, meeting corporate training standards. Pursue additional learning opportunities that strengthen professional capabilities and contribute to team and organizational performance, with prior manager approval. Other Duties Assigned Support enterprise and departmental objectives by taking on assigned projects and delegated tasks with accountability, attention to detail, and timely execution.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance business efficiency and strengthen organizational effectiveness. Proactively provide regular updates to leadership on project status, deliverables, and outcomes. Maintain flexibility and agility to take on additional responsibilities as organizational needs evolve.
Salary Range: $79,810 - $104,751 This position is eligible for participation in the Company's Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP), offering additional compensation driven by individual and company performance.
Compensation
is determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market considerations. We consider factors such as specialized skills, depth of knowledge in the field, and educational background to ensure fair and competitive pay. Salary may also include additional geographic differential for employees working in higher-cost labor markets, including states such as New York and California.
While the posted range reflects our anticipated hiring range, we remain open to considering candidates with exceptional qualifications, specialized expertise, or directly relevant experience that may warrant compensation outside of that range.
