About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Afternoon Shift Team Leader to join our Accent Group Distribution Centre team. Working Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm , you’ll lead our afternoon replenishment and forklift team, keeping stock moving, pick faces replenished and the DC ready for the next day. You’ll be hands-on, organised and confident leading a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a strong focus on safety, productivity and getting the job done.
What you’ll be doing Lead and coordinate the afternoon replenishment and forklift team Manage replenishment priorities to keep pick locations stocked and minimise picker downtime Oversee the safe movement, storage and consolidation of pallets across the DC Allocate daily tasks based on workload, priorities, labour and equipment Monitor team productivity, accuracy and safety Action priorities from the day shift and ensure a clear handover into the next day Work closely with Fulfilment, Inventory and Operations teams to keep stock flowing Use the WMS to manage replenishment tasks, track stock movements and monitor outstanding work Escalate stock shortages, equipment issues, delays and safety concerns Ensure the DC is left clean, organised and ready for the next shift Support SOPs, process improvements and best-practice ways of working What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a warehouse, replenishment or logistics leadership role Experience leading forklift operators or warehouse teams in a shift-based environment Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock flow and pick/pack environments Valid forklift licence Experience using a WMS Strong communication and organisational skills A hands-on leadership style and the ability to keep a team focused in a fast-paced environment A strong commitment to health, safety and warehouse standards Availability to work Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm Why Accent Group?
