• Memphis, TN, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, The Packaging Clerk is responsible for preparing, packaging, labeling, and verifying outgoing materials, products, and shipments. This position ensures all outgoing orders meet company quality standards and customer requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory tracking. The Packaging Clerk works closely with shipping, warehouse, and production personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, packaging, or warehouse operations preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain one. Basic computer skills (knowledge of shipping systems, inventory software, or ERP preferred). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling, documentation, and packaging.

Ability to read and interpret work orders, bills of lading, and material tags. Effective communication skills and teamwork with other departments. Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Ability to work in an industrial environment with noise, dust, and temperature variations.

Must wear required PPE at all times.
