Cranford Equipment is a distributor of industrial filtration solutions. Cranford Equipment is headquartered in Kenner, Louisiana with an additional location in Broussard, Louisiana. Cranford Equipment is a subsidiary of Flo. Works International, LLC. which is a privately held company located in Houston, Texas. Job Information Perform general warehouse operations and support management by acting as first line of assistance for associates.

Dependent upon volume/size of the facility, may have specialized tasks or have a generalized role working in all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Coaches and trains lower level warehouse associates on the proper execution of warehouse duties, ensures policies and procedures are followed Exhibits detailed knowledge of all warehouse roles and is qualified in all aspects of warehouse operations Safely operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods, operate pallet jacks, or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods Verify and enter in data into the facilities computer system Maintains condition of work area Stock product in designated location or locate to pull correct quantities to fulfill customer orders and meet productivity and accuracy goals May also complete tasks such as receiving, returns, inventory, order layout, data entry, and load trucks considering cubic weight, size and characteristics of load Qualifications: 18+ months of warehouse experience Maintain a high level of knowledge of warehouse operations, products Ability to professionally lead staff by example and handle light supervisory duties.

Familiar with training and coaching techniques Ability to change or adapt work practices, priorities, or procedures Ability to think and take constructive action in work-related matters HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility. Technical certification or Associates degree may be required in some areas.

Generally, 5 to7 years of experience in related area of responsibility. Physical Demands Frequently required to stand Frequently required to walk Continually required to sit Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl Continually required to talk or hear Continually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment) Work Environment This role operates in a warehouse environment.

Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Typically involves overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending or squatting.
