Internship: Market Research & Business Development

Job description

How do you identify new markets for technology that is normally used in space missions? At cosine, we develop advanced technology for international space exploration projects. The same technology may also offer opportunities much closer to home. During this internship, you will investigate which markets, companies, and organizations could benefit from our innovations.

You will explore new application areas, analyze attractive markets, and identify potential customers and business partners. In doing so, you will provide valuable input for cosine's commercial strategy and future growth. Why choose this internship? The start date is flexible and can be agreed upon together. During your internship, you will: Research new markets and industries where cosine's technology could potentially be applied Identify companies and organizations that could be interesting as customers or strategic partners Analyze market developments, trends, and business opportunities Collect, organize, and present commercial insights and potential leads for our sales team Collaborate with colleagues from engineering, marketing, and sales Have the opportunity to attend networking and business events You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field You are in the third or fourth year of your studies You are curious and enjoy researching markets, companies, and commercial opportunities You work in a structured manner and can clearly organize and present information You communicate easily, both verbally and in writing You have a good command of both Dutch and English You live in or near the Leiden/Sassenheim area An interest in innovation, technology, or space is a plus, but certainly not a requirement At cosine, we highly value our interns and are dedicated to helping you grow both professionally and personally.
