Business Solutions Lead – Payments Platform Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum + Bonus Swindon/London – Hybrid As a Business Solutions Lead, you will shape and deliver market-led solutions for a specific business vertical, promoting standardisation, maximising value and aligning delivery across multiple roadmaps. You’ll connect business strategy with practical, scalable technology solutions whilst working across teams to improve products, services and processes while supporting the needs of customers and the business.

What you will be doing: Lead the discovery, definition and delivery of business solutions aligned with strategic objectives, customer needs and market opportunities. Translate business goals and operational challenges into clear solution requirements, capabilities and delivery plans. Shape end-to-end solutions across products, services, processes and system-to-system integrations, including APIs.

Ensure solutions account for compliance, security, scalability, availability and operational resilience. Work closely with Product, Technology, Architecture, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams to develop and deliver effective solutions. Map business processes, customer and operational journeys, capabilities, dependencies and impacts.

Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve processes, systems and ways of working. Evaluate options and make recommendations that balance business value, technical feasibility, risk and delivery timelines. Prioritise initiatives based on strategic alignment, customer and business impact, feasibility and resource requirements.

Gather and use stakeholder feedback, operational data and performance insights to refine solutions and demonstrate outcomes. Define and track relevant OKRs, KPIs and measures of success, using results to inform ongoing improvement. Facilitate workshops, solution-design sessions, design sprints and stakeholder reviews.

Communicate solution recommendations, decisions, risks and trade-offs clearly to audiences ranging from executives to engineering teams. Ensure solutions align with architectural principles, technology standards and agreed business policies. Promote consistent solution-design practices and maintain reusable business and technical artefacts.

Stay informed about fintech trends, payments developments, regulations and emerging technologies.

What you will bring

Essential: Experience in a Business Solutions Lead, Business Design, Solution Design or similar role, with a track record of taking complex business needs through to delivered solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance customer and business needs, operational considerations and technical constraints.

Experience translating business goals into clear requirements, capabilities and practical delivery approaches. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levels. Ability to work effectively with technical stakeholders and constructively challenge proposals to achieve a pragmatic balance between business value and technical best practice.

Experience setting, tracking and delivering against OKRs, KPIs or other measures of business performance. Confident in analysing operational data and using evidence to inform recommendations and assess outcomes. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Desirable: Experience with API integrations, microservices and cloud-based environments.

Knowledge of the payments industry, including payment processing, regulations and emerging technologies. Why Edenred Pay. Tech?
