Job description

We are seeking multiple knowledgeable and motivated Part-Time Community Education Coordinators to create public awareness of child abuse and neglect, and prevention strategies. These positions are 25hours per week, with potential for up to 40 hours temporarily as determined by candidate and manager. These positions can be based out of either our Lewiston or South Paris Office (whichever is closer to candidates residence), with occasional travel throughout our service area as needed.

Starting Pay Range : $21.50-23.00/hour depending on education and experience Essential Duties : Bringing together community Stakeholders and project partners, building public awareness, and work to enhance community supports, trainings, and opportunities for clients Lead and implement prevention programs and strategies, including conducting trainings in various curriculums Ensure proper data collection and reporting is completed Assist in document referrals, community inquiries, and parenting requests Benefits: Paid Time Off (up to 18 days for full-time employees) Up to 13 paid holidays per year 403(b) pension plan with agency contribution and match Community Concepts is a qualified employer under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program Mileage reimbursement Desired Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or other Health-related degree Three years experience in project coordination, preferred Two years of direct service experience, preferred Other Requirements: Successful candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to function autonomously and as part of a community team; fluency in multiple languages would be a plus.
