Dishwasher Job Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs, depending on the workplace

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

• Willingness to work as part of a team

• Ability to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures

• Properly wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans

• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized

• Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately

• Maintain clean floors and work surfaces

• Follow instructions from cooks, chefs, and management

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful but not always required**

• Food-handler certification may be required depending on local regulations
