Automotive Installer (New Vehicle Upfitting)
Job description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Assemble AEV and supplier parts to upfit vehicles. This will include suspension components, bumpers, tire carriers, wiring, and some sheet metal work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install components on Jeep, Ram, Chevrolet, and Ford vehicles Vehicle tear down and reassembly Maintain the highest upfit build quality Maintain an organized, neat, and safe work bay Maintain shop safety and cleanliness Must have own tools Must have valid and satisfactory driver’s license. All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Three years of overall vehicle mechanic experience is preferred Able to follow verbal and written instructions Extremely detailed oriented, efficient, and organized Ability to be ready to start work by scheduled time Good team worker, enjoys working on two-person team QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED is preferred Valid and Satisfactory driver’s license with no DUI PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to safely lift, up to 50 pounds to chest level Ability to stand for 75% of the day or more Ability to safely reach, grab, hold and bend Ability to safely use both hand and power tools Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
