• The Senior Accountant at OSU Cowboy Golf LLC is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company and contributing to its long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and financial insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis activities.
• Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring the company remains compliant.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred. Required Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior accountant or similar role.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
