In-Home Aide (D-POM)

Our mission is to support independence, dignity, and quality of life through safety and professional care in the client’s home. --- Position Overview The In-Home Aide provides personal care, household assistance, and emotional support to clients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is essential to maintaining client comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

--- Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Nursing Aide program and registration with the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry. Previous nursing assistant experience accepted.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills. --- Key Responsibilities
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, mouth care, and grooming.
• Support dressing and mobility, including transfers and ambulation.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide light housekeeping, including laundry, linen changes, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Assist with shopping, picking up medications, and other household tasks.
• Provide emotional support and companionship according to client needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or director.
