SEO Content Writer

Role Overview We're hiring a Content Writer with strong SEO expertise to own our content pipeline — blogs, website copy, landing pages, and email campaigns. You'll work closely with our marketing team to produce content that drives organic traffic and supports conversions across our digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Research, write, and edit SEO-optimised blog posts, articles, and landing pages aligned with business and audience goals Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, keyword density) Collaborate with the SEO/marketing team to align content with search intent and ranking goals Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent publishing cadence across channels Build and manage topic clusters and content hubs to strengthen site-wide SEO authority Conduct competitor content audits and identify content gaps and opportunities Optimise existing content for improved rankings through periodic content refreshes Track content performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush/Ahrefs, and iterate based on data Write compelling website copy, email newsletters, and social media captions as needed Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats for social/email Brief and collaborate with designers on supporting visuals, infographics, and multimedia content Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and evolving SEO best practices Ensure all content is plagiarism-free, well-researched, and factually accurate Coordinate with subject matter experts across teams to ensure content accuracy Mentor junior writers and support quality checks across the content team Requirements 3–5 years of experience in content writing with a strong focus on SEO Proven track record of writing content that has ranked/performed well organically (portfolio required) Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, or similar) Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, and content structuring for search intent Excellent written English — clarity, grammar, and tone adaptability Ability to simplify complex information into clear, reader-friendly content Comfortable working with content calendars and meeting deadlines Good to Have Basic understanding of link-building and off-page SEO Familiarity with AI writing tools for research/drafting (with a strong editing eye)
