Job Summary

Operate a shear to cut parts per customer order Physical Requirements Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Walk(Move, Traverse), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Repetitive Motion Function in the Job Heavy work

• Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function Reviews work orders to determine material needed Retrieves material and stages for shearing Shears material per work order requirements Measures material as needed to ensure tolerances are met Ensures measuring devices are in good working order Packages material as needed for storage or shipment Completes and submits all required paperwork Completes all required computer/data entry Performs preventive maintenance on shear as assigned Maintains a clean and neat work area Operates a forklift, crane, or other material handling equipment as needeD. Assists with loading or unloading trucks Assists with any other warehouse duties as assigned Required Skills Read and understand English Basic math skills Knowledge of how to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions How to read a tape measure Computer data entry EEO Statement Reliance, Inc.
