Crisis Counselor
Job description
A Crisis Counselor is part of a multi-disciplinary team that identifies and implements strategies to reach out to individuals with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses to assist in identifying and managing identified immediate crises that are posing an impediment to everyday functioning in the community. A Crisis Counselor meets with individuals and/or families to assist in developing plans to support their recovery process and provide information and support during this process.
