DETAILS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• $21 per hour -7.5 hours a week
• Morning and Afternoons required
• Morning Schedule - Monday - Friday 7:15am-8:00am
• Afternoon Schedule Monday - Thursday 2:20pm-3:00pm and Fridays 12:20pm-1:00pm
• Paid School Holidays
• Summers Off

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares school crossing zone twice a day at the beginning of shift when children are traveling to and from school by turning on flashing lights and placing warning cones in the street.
• Take Children, as they arrive safely across the street, watching traffic closely and stopping cars if necessary.
• Removes warning cones and turns off flashing lights at the end of the shift

Typical Physical/Mental Demands/Working Conditions Regular and prompt attendance is essential. Mental effort is required daily. Job is performed outside and is subject to exposure to the elements, such as heat, cold, and wet conditions. Job involves walking and standing for long periods of time. Constant seeing and hearing are required to fulfill job responsibilities. Subject to exposure to environmental and/or physical hazards. Must have mobility so as to intervene in situations that present danger to children or self.
