Volunteer Coordinator (Hospice)

Provides overall management of volunteer services, and facilitates the provision of volunteer services. Ensures the provision of volunteer services that reflect the organization’s philosophy and standards. Collaboratively, with the DON, ensures compliance of the volunteer department to meet state, federal, payer-specific, and voluntary (JCAHO) guidelines and regulations.

Participates in the Performance Improvement Program. Consults with the management team on problems and interpretation of organization policies to ensure that patient and family needs are met. Participates in the formulation of a budget for the Volunteer Department.
