Job Summary
We are currently looking for an Apprentice HVAC/R Commercial Service Technician to assist Journeyman technicians in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment for commercial customers. Installation of HVAC/R-related equipment and components. Assist Journeyman technicians in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systems. Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration equipment and systems. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations. Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprentices. Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in, or have you completed, an HVAC/R apprenticeship program in Ontario Basic understanding of Mechanical Installation and repairs. Valid Ontario Drivers License. Excellent Math and problem solving skills. Ability to work alone and in a team environment. Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.
The pay range is $23.29 to $51.27 per hour. The compensation for this position is as per the collective agreement.
