2026-2027 Substitute Pool for Paraprofessional

Job Summary

The substitute position will fill in for a paraprofessional who works as a General Education, Bilingual, Mild/Moderate, or Moderate/Severe Special Education Paraprofessional. The Paraprofessional Substitute will be working alongside a certificated teacher at all times and will assist with students, as needed.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Qualified candidates should hold an AA degree/60 units of college work OR satifactorily pass the District provided Paraprofessional Exam. Please include the following with your Edjoin application submission:

• Two current letters of recommendation
• Letter of Introduction
• Resume Pay is assessed at Step 1 of the Range of the position for which services are being provided:
• General Education Paraprofessional
• Range 2 - $18.42/hour
• Bilingual Paraprofessional
• Range 4 - $19.35/hour
• Special Education Paraprofessional
• Mild/Moderate
• Range 4 - $19.35/hour
• Special Education Paraprofessional
• Moderate/Severe
• Range 7 - $20.84/hour Comments and Other Information Offer of Employment will be contingent on the following:
