Registered Nurse (RN) - Intake and Recovery

City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for IR, Intake and Recovery at Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia. This is a full time, day shift position. This position requires weekend on-call as noted below. $15,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates!

Hours Monday – Friday: 7:30am - 5pm, 4 days a week OR 8am - 4:30pm, 5 days a week Weekend Call: 4 hours on Saturday/Sunday about every 6 weeks (9am - 1pm) Overview The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.

The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.

The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

Education

Minimum of ASN or RN Diploma (Required) BSN or MSN (Preferred) Certification/Licensure RN licensure (Required) BLS within 90 days of hire ACLS within 1 year Experience 1 year of RN experience (Required) Strongly prefer previous critical care experience (ICU, ED, etc) (Preferred) Keywords: Talroo-nursing, Monster, RN, Registered Nurse, Critical Care, PCU, ER, Cardiac, Stepdown, Operating or Recovery Room RN, Cath Holding, Cath Lab We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
