FayCares Lunch Coordinator

Description Position Summary: 20 Hours/Day Time Part Time The Nutrition & Volunteer Coordinator supports the daily lunch program operation with nutritional awareness at Fayetteville Cares while helping create a stable, welcoming environment that encourages guest engagement and connection to services. Because lunch service is the primary engagement point for many guests and Veterans, this role helps strengthen relationships, improve service flow, and support connection to resources and next steps.

This position will also have oversight of the volunteers who help prep and serve meals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee lunch service operations during assigned hours ? Provide Nutritional guidance. Help maintain a welcoming, calm, and organized environment for guests ? Support engagement efforts between guests, Navigators, staff, volunteers, and providers ? Assist with meal preparation coordination, meal distribution, and cleanup support ?

Monitor supply needs and communicate operational needs to leadership ? Support volunteer coordination during meal service as assigned ? Help reinforce Fayetteville Cares culture of dignity, hospitality, and service ? Assist with maintaining a safe and respectful dining environment ? Oversight of Volunteers Required Meetings: ?

DRC Staff Meetings ? Staff Mentoring as directed Key software requirements: ? Google Mail/Apps/Docs ? MS Office ? Paylocity Job Qualifications: ? Food Service & Nutritional Support ?
