IT Systems Administrator
Job description
Builtwell Bank is seeking an experienced, service-oriented IT System Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This position provides technical support across the organization while assisting with the deployment, administration, security, and maintenance of systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to requests for technical assistance, installations, and system support while documenting requests and resolutions through the IT work order system. Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, network, telephone, and voicemail issues. Install and support software on workstations and servers. Assist with additions, changes, and moves involving computers and telephone systems.
Maintain accurate hardware, software, network, and asset inventory information. Support system security, patch management, upgrades, routine maintenance, performance monitoring, documentation, testing, and backups. Work collaboratively with outside vendors, Bank employees, Desktop Support, and Information Security. Serve as a backup for Desktop and User Support responsibilities.
Maintain knowledge of applicable banking regulations, operating procedures, and security guidelines. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain current with emerging technology. Travel to other banking office locations as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma with some college coursework in computer science required. Minimum of four years of experience in a service-related industry with working knowledge of personal computers, hardware, software, operating systems, and networks. Experience with currently supported Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP networking, and Windows-based network configuration and troubleshooting. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service.
Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technology. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays. Valid driver's license required. Ability to lift computers and related equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
