5 Paid Holidays 2 Weeks Institutional Closing Pay (Last 2 weeks of December) for qualifying positions Employee Assistance Program Job Summary The Nursing Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a Medicaid Nurse Aide Instructor on the Southwest Campus. This position will be responsible for classroom didactic and clinical instruction.

Four days a week will be required on-site. This position is being hired for Spring 2027. Job Duties: Duties include but are not limited to:

• Teach a full load of MNA classes as assigned per semester.
• Assist with conducting MNA testing at all testing sites for the dedicated region.
• Assist Coordinator with developing, planning, and preparing schedule for MNA and KMA classes.
• Monitors and enforces compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines pertaining to the MNA and KMA programs in classes taught.
• Works with Coordinator to keep accurate, complete, up-to-date and on-site training and testing records for the MNA and KMA program for five (5) years.
• Serves as a liaison in conjunction with Coordinator to internal and external agencies to promote the program.
• Other duties as assigned to meet the Federal and State requirements for the program. •This position requires occasional travel to the Technical Campus.

Minimum Qualifications

Registered Nurse (Associate level or higher) who has a current license in Kentucky or a current license in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN, with at least one (1) year of full-time experience in the provision of long-term care services.

Preferred Qualifications

Recent experience teaching an MNA course. Completion of MOI(Methods of Instruction) Training. Additional Skills Requested: Physical Requirements: Occasional and /or light lifting – limited exposure to disagreeable environmental elements (heat, cold, dirt, chemicals, etc.) Jefferson Community and Technical College is working to build an engaged faculty and staff committed to teaching and working within the community.
