Shipping & Receiving Associate

SMS Staffing is hiring Shipping & Receiving Associates in Spring Grove, IL! Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate Location: Spring Grove, IL 60081 Pay Rate: $17.00–$18.00/hr. Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary Responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, preparing shipping documentation, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Pack, unpack, and process orders. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments. Load and unload packages from trucks. Prepare shipping labels and maintain accurate records. Organize inventory and label deliveries. Process returns and report damaged or incorrect shipments. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs. Ability to perform physical warehouse duties safely.
