Business Development Lead

This is a remote position. You will be responsible for finding, managing and closing new leads. If you’re someone who has worked within the publishing industry or publicity space, has experience working with authors, and enjoys the process of selling, this role is for you. S) Qualifications: 3-5 years of professional sales experience in publishing or publicity Likes people and makes friends easily Positive attitude/ team player Creative Experience with book industry, PR and book marketing Proactive problem solver that is solutions-oriented Professionally sales-trained and proven salesperson Strong interpersonal skills Current relationships with publishing companies and author organizations PR by the Book is an Austin-based boutique publicity firm specializing in literary media relations and social media campaigns, publishing consultation, and publicity tours for authors/ experts.
