Rail Terminal Hostler Driver

Are you ready to launch a stable career in the rail industry? Join Pacific Rail Services working at the BNSF St. Louis Rail Terminal! We’re hiring for an entry-level position that combines Hostler Driver and Ground Person duties.

We provide on-the-job training —you’ll learn everything you need to succeed! What You’ll Do: Operate jockey trucks to move 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard. Perform ground duties like climbing on/off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBCs). Assist crane operators and side loaders using hand signals for safe loading/unloading.

Starting Pay: $20.00/hr with no experience. Higher starting rate available for experienced jockey drivers. Shifts Available: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12 hours).

2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM (10 hours).
