Job description

Description SUMMARY: Prepares, paints, and finishes weightlifting equipment and related parts to meet Power Lift quality standards.

Responsibilities include

applying coatings evenly, inspecting finished parts for defects, and maintaining a clean and safe paint area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Applies powder coat, or other finishes according to company specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspects painted parts for proper coverage, color, finish quality, runs, scratches, or other defects.
  • Handles, and stores paint and coating materials safely and according to company procedures.
  • Uses paint equipment, sprayers, booths, hooks, racks, and related tools properly and safely.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe paint area, including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
  • Follows all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and ventilation requirements.
  • Works with production team members to keep parts moving through the paint process efficiently.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
