Title: Associate/Full Professor in Financial Accounting and Reporting Institution: Luxembourg School of Business Luxembourg School of Business (LSB) is the leading business school in Luxembourg and the only one accredited by the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education and Research. LSB currently offers a Weekend-MBA, a Master in Management, and a wide range of Executive Education programs.

Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg Luxembourg School of Business (LSB) invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor position in Financial Accounting and Reporting, commencing Fall 2024.

We seek individuals with a strong academic background and a commitment to excellence in teaching and research, who can contribute significantly to our accounting programs and the broader academic community.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and dedicated faculty, contributing to both undergraduate and graduate education in Financial Accounting and Reporting. They will play a pivotal role in advancing the research agenda, teaching, and curriculum development in accounting, aligning with the LSB's mission to provide high-quality education and produce impactful research.

Responsibilities

Conduct rigorous research in Financial Accounting and Reporting, contributing to the academic and professional knowledge in the field. Teach Financial Accounting and Reporting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, delivering high-quality educational experiences. Engage in curriculum development and continuous improvement of accounting programs.

Participate in departmental and institutional service, faculty governance, and community outreach activities. Collaborate with faculty across departments and engage with the broader academic and professional communities in accounting and finance. Requirements

Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A strong track record of research and publications in reputable accounting or related academic journals. Proven excellence in teaching Financial Accounting and Reporting at undergraduate and graduate levels. An innovative approach to curriculum development and a commitment to enhancing the educational experience of our students.

Experience in designing and delivering executive education programs for executives and companies
