Special Education Teacher – Multiple Disabilities Elementary

POSTING In accordance with the Agreement between the Mount Holly Township Board of Education and the Mount Holly Township Education Association, the following vacancy is listed for the 2026/2027 school year: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER � Multiple Disabilities Elementary Seeking an innovative, enthusiastic instructor to provide a highly effective educational program and establish a school environment that fosters learning and personal growth.

1. Strong classroom structures and routines in conjunction with a focus of high-quality instructional delivery.
2. Strong sense of professional commitment and collaboration with stakeholders.
3. Strong skills in lesson design and delivery to best meet the needs of students.
4. Understand that behavior is a form of communication and know that behavior can be modified through consistently implemented behavior support interventions.
5. Experience supporting academic, social, and functional skills within the scope of an individualized program.
6. Receptive to feedback, implement recommendations, and collaborate with professionals in order to continually develop their practice.
7. Knowledge of how to differentiate within a classroom, as well as analyze data determine commonalities in standards and IEP goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification Required Elementary Ed Certification Required Prior experience working with students with Autism (preferred) SALARY: Negotiable
