Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
• Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and wound care
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and surgeries
• Prepare animals for surgery, including prepping surgical sites and sterilizing equipment
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
• Assist with radiography, laboratory testing, and other diagnostic procedures
• Provide support and comfort to animals during examinations and treatments. Experience:
• Experience as a veterinary technician preferred, but willing to train the right individual.
• Proficiency in aseptic technique and veterinary critical care
• Experience working in a laboratory setting, performing tests and analyzing results
• Strong skills in animal handling, including dog restraint and cat handling techniques
• Ability to work independently as well as with other team members. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Expected hours: 36 – 39 per week.
