Summary: Performs clerical duties to maintain medical record. Contributes to the organized functioning of the nursing division. Assists in the nursing division s cost efficiency efforts. Minimum Education: High school graduate. Minimum Work Experience: Past clerical experience preferred. Required Skills/Knowledge: a. Must be able to type 35 words per minute. b. Must maintain confidentiality c. Must be able to endure incredible pressure d. Must display problem-solving skills, priority setting with organizational skills, and be able to skillfully handle several situations at one time. e. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills preferred. f. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
